Overview
The climate emergency is forcing all professions across the built environment to consider how to lower the embodied carbon of the structures they design and build.
This inaugural e-conference is dedicated to helping structural engineers understand how to assess, strengthen and reuse existing concrete structures to extend their life and reduce the impact the build environment profession has on the environment.
It will cover real life examples of how material efficiency can be achieved and novel cements and concretes that can be used in current and future projects.
The conference will take place online over three half days, enabling UK and international delegates to participate and explore the following themes:
Day 1 - Concrete construction solutions
Day 2 - Reusing concrete buildings
Day 3 - Material efficiency and novel materials
Who should attend?
- Structural engineers
- Designers
- Contractors
- Material engineers
