A train driver reporter that stones were falling from an inclined retaining wall onto a rail track. The wall failed directly in front of a piled foundation for an electricity mast which was installed within the past 18 months. The night before the wall failed there was an intense period of rainfall which followed a sustained period where temperatures were below freezing.
