A report was received from a tenant business manager of a fall of metal (Figure 1) from the soffit onto a table in a restaurant/bar. Luckily, no one was injured. On investigation the object was identified as a section of corroded bullhead rail. The old rail was believed to have been used as part of temporary works during work on the viaduct and was not fully removed when this work was completed.
