Unsafe instructions from a building inspector
On the site for an extension to a domestic property, a building inspector instructed a contractor to excavate a deep trench. The trench was in front of the neighbour's adjacent boundary retaining wall, and left a deep vertical face under the house being extended.

This date is important since it is much later than the previously thought last significant use of RAAC in buildings in the UK and potentially affects the scope of buildings that could require screening for RAAC problems.
