The Collaborative Reporting for Safer Structures scheme, known as CROSS, is a confidential reporting system for professionals working in the built environment to submit concerns about fire and structural safety issues. These concerns are anonymised and published to share lessons learned, create positive change, and improve safety in the built environment.

Fire Safety Consultant (self-employed)
Do you have an in-depth knowledge of fire engineering? Are you interested in making the built environment safer? Are you looking for a part-time freelance role with flexible hours and remote working?
The CROSS-UK team is looking for a fire engineer to help process fire safety reports and to communicate and engage with the wider industry. You’ll work closely with our core team and expert panels, as well as collaborate with other professionals including architects, engineers, surveyors and Fire and Rescue Services, to help share lessons learned and best practices.
